"This was bush flying at its finest. We swooped into a valley...squeezed through low passes...and over the main tongue of the Yanert Glacier curved in graceful sets of black-and-white strips...and set down on a 2800-foot-long gravel air strip in front of the lodge."

Getting to the Lodge
Denali Wilderness Lodge is 30 roadless miles east of Denali National Park. Accessible only by bush plane, this utterly remote lodge offers the same spectacular mountainous surroundings as Denali - without the crowds.
When we say 'There are no roads to the Real Alaska' we mean it. The closest road to the lodge is over 30 miles away and we sit within 1.2 Million acres of state wilderness area.

The breathtaking flight from the airport traverses the peaks and valleys of the impressive Mt. Deborah region of the Alaska Range and soars over the habitat of moose, caribou, Dall sheep and bear... All this is just the beginning of your real Alaskan wilderness experience.
