AMERICAN HOTEL: Mike Brown and the Sneakies

Los Angeles, CA April 2006 – What began as 22 year old musician, Mike Brown’s “pie in the sky” wish list of musicians he hoped to someday work with, has culminated three years later in a collaborative benefit album featuring over forty all-star musicians. Oasis Entertainment is proud to announce the upcoming album—American Hotel—by Mike Brown & The Sneakies. Proceeds from the sales of American Hotel will go towards rebuilding a community hospital in Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala, which was devastated last fall by mudslides, killing hundreds and leaving thousands homeless.

A press conference will be held at The Mint, 6010 Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, Calif. on Friday, April 14 at 5:00 pm to announce the upcoming album release, followed by a performance by Mike Brown and the Sneakies, featuring Rami Jaffee of the Wallflowers and Sebastian Steinberg of Soul Coughing, among others. Also present will be Eddie Kramer, the legendary producer behind – among many others - The Rolling Stones, Traffic, Peter Frampton, Joe Cocker, David Bowie, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin.
