ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
New projects looking for funding must meet the following basic eligibility criteria to be presented for consideration:

Be a nonprofit charitable organization classified as a 501(c)(3) public charity by the Internal Revenue Service or operate under the fiscal sponsorship of a 501(c)(3).

Not be seeking funding for religious purposes. We may support agencies operated by religious organizations that serve secular needs.

Have written policies regarding non-discrimination on the basis of age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability, national origin, political affiliation or religious belief. Demonstrate adherence in practice to these policies.

Mission Statement to reflect one of the following:

• Social Services: Provision of social services to those suffering hardship or unable to participate in the social and economic life of the community.
• Education: Strengthening educational success.
• Environment: Preservation or restoration of the environment.
• Health: Improving physical or emotional health.
