G. Bennett Stewart III
Senior partner of Stern Stewart, Mr. Stewart was part of the Chase Financial Policy team before the formation of Stern Stewart. He is the author of The Quest for Value, the definitive text on Stern Stewart's proprietary Economic Value Added (EVA®) framework. He holds an MBA in finance and economics from the University of Chicago and a BS in electrical engineering from Princeton University.

Harvey Schloss.
Mr. Schloss is the former Vice President of Finance at the law firm of Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, California, Silicon Valley’s most prominent law firm.  He is currently a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Mayfield Fund, one of the pre-eminent venture capital funds in Silicon Valley.
 
David Hildebrandt, Esq.
Mr. Hildebrandt is a partner at the law firm of Greenberg Traurig, LLP.  He is also President of the International Association of Financial Participation Programs and General Counsel to the 401(k)/Profit Sharing Research Foundation.  He has formerly served as General Counsel to the 401(k)/Profit Sharing Council of America.
 
Dan Walker
Mr. Walker is the former Global Chief Talent Officer (Global HR Chief) for Apple Computer (retired 2005). Previously he was Global HR Chief at The GAP for eight years.

Mark Menchin, CFA, Ph.D:
Mr. Menchin has had a distinguished career in investment and risk management. As the managing director of risk management at Verizon Investment Management Corporation (VIMCO) from 2000 to 2003, Mr. Menchin developed, oversaw and monitored business risk (market and credit), as well as consequential risks (operations, liquidity, settlement, and legal) for assets totaling $70+ billion.  A key goal was to develop and monitor the risks inherent in maintaining the Verizon pension plans’ healthy funded status, given potentially adverse economic, and interest rate forecasts.  One objective was to develop contingency plans for those circumstances in which a pension fund might require a large pension contribution at a high probability level.  Potential savings were in the billions of dollars.  Another key goal was to develop comprehensive economics based systems for integrating the linkage between economic variables and successful investment management decisions affecting both capital return and tracking error parameters. Before the merger Mr. Menchin was in charge of asset allocation decisions at Bell Atlantic where he performed a number of asset / liability studies for both pension and VEBA trusts.  He was also the Chief Economist at NYNEX where he had extensive experience with macro-economic modeling and forecasting.

Douglas Laurice (retired 2002)
Former ERISA Chair at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati. Douglas Laurice is ERISA counsel to denali fiduciary Management.  Doug is a native of Palo Alto California. He received his Bachelors of Science from Northwest University in 1968, graduating with highest distinction honors.  Doug returned to California to attend Boalt Hall School of Law at University of California, Berkeley, where he served as an editor of the Law Review and was a member of the Order of the Coif.  After admission to the California bar, Doug spent several years in estate planning with a large San Francisco law firm.  In 1979 Doug returned to Palo Alto to join the firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati as head of the Estate Planning Group. In 1980, Doug was named a partner at WSG&R and soon after, organized the WSG&R Employee Benefits Group.  In his 20-year tenure with WSG&R, Doug saw the firm grow from 21 to over 700 attorneys. In 2001, Doug retired from WSG&R and moved to Cloverdale, California.  He continues to practice law and consult part-time on employee benefits issues, while also pursuing various business interests.  During the course of his career, Doug has both written and spoken extensively on both estate planning and employee benefit concerns with particular emphasis on fiduciary issues

Darryl Deaktor (retired 2002)
Former General Securities M&A lawyer at White & Case. Darryl Deaktor is a corporate lawyer with more than 30 years’ experience representing public and private sector clients in a wide range of commercial contexts, both domestically and internationally. Prior to retiring from law practice at the end of 2001, Darryl specialized in mergers, acquisitions, privatizations, joint ventures and capital markets transactions, and most recently was a partner for fifteen years in the global law firm of White & Case LLP.   He managed White & Case’s office in Silicon Valley and was one of the founding partners of his firm’s offices in Miami and Johannesburg.
Darryl has an LL.B. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. in finance from Columbia University.
