He has an eighteen year track record of building businesses, driving revenues, and delivering shareholder value by developing strategic partnerships, establishing direct and indirect sales channels, and structuring equity and debt investments He has extensive experience in the venture capital and financial services industries. Further, his sales and marketing experience developed in both the major corporate environment and the startup/venture environment. Mr. Carlsen has co-founded several ventures during his career including: ITC2.org, focused on the development and marketing of certification programs that measure and validate the hands-on work experience of IT professionals; Milestone Group, a professional management services firm that provides early stage ventures with outsourced management expertise to improve operations, sales results, and valuation; Systemic Solutions, a consulting services company providing Y2K remediation software to major software ISVs. |
